Did you recently upgrade to a newer AutoCAD or OEM release?
This article will walk you through the process of transferring your Workspaces and Toolbars from one release to another.
Open your old or previous release of Toolbox or AutoCAD.
At the Command line, type "CUI" to bring up the “Customize User Interface” controls and click on the “Transfer” tab.
Make sure the left-hand side is set to the “Main Customization File,” and the left is set to “New File.”
Drag-and-drop the Workspaces and any other relevant options from the “Main Customization File” to the “New File.”
When you are done transferring, select the save icon next to the New file.
The save button will bring up a prompt. Choose a location for your new ".CUIX" file to be saved. E.g. c:\Users\%username%\Desktop\Customized CUI\
After selecting save, you will be brought back to the CUI Interface, where you can select “Apply” and then “OK.”
Open the NEW version of Microvellum Toolbox.
Type CUI command to bring up “Customize User Interface” and click on the “Transfer” tab.
Make sure the left-hand side is set to the “Main Customization File,” and the right is set to “New File.”
Select the “Open Customization File” on the right-hand side of “New File.”
Browse to the location of your exported ".CUIX" file and select “Open”.
Drag-and-drop the Workspaces and any other relevant options from the “Custom CUI.cuix” to the “Main Customization File” and select the save button to the right of the “Main Customization file” and select “OK.”
Restart Toolbox or AutoCAD. If the Workspace switcher is not showing, click on the drop-down menu and select workspace.
