How to change the Google Drive/Calendar account for Cmd+M search? Can I use Google Drive search on multiple accounts?

One of Mighty's greatest features is the productivity layer using the command+m hotkey. This allows for searching through files in Google Drive, Notion, and much more. There are times where Mighty users want to change the Google Drive account that is being searched through. This can be done very easily by following a few quick steps:

  1. Revoke permissions for Mighty at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions

  2. Using the profile switcher (Cmd+Shift+M) and/or the UI in a Google app (Gmail, GDrive), try to log out of Google on your profile in Mighty

  3. Reset Chromium by visiting chrome://restart (manually)

  4. While visiting a Google app, try logging into your *other* account; here Google may force you to log into the “main” profile first; if that happens that’s okay just please ALSO log into your other one using Gmail or GDrive before proceeding

  5. Use Cmd+M to search and select “Setup Mighty”; this will re-enter our setup flow

  6. in Step 3 (where it asks for Google perms for Drive and Calendar, not Step 1 where we set up profile sync), if we’re lucky, you will get to choose your other account

This series of steps typically solves the issue quickly, but there are sometimes edge cases where these steps don't work. If that's the case for you, please let us know in Live Chat!
