Every so often, there are a few bugs here and there that users run into. We find that many small issues can be resolved by resetting the Mighty host.

What does Reset Host do?

Essentially, it will refresh your Chromium instance on the virtual machine that Mighty is running on.

Will I lose my tabs??

No! All your tabs will be restored, and your session should persist outside the few seconds it takes to re-launch the app.

How do I reset my host?

To reset your host, go to the menu bar and find Debug > Reset Host. Then select the reason closest to the issue you are having. We have several options here which helps us track what issues are commonly occurring for users.

When should I reset my host?

You should only do it when absolutely necessary. Mighty wants to hear about any and all issues you come across so we can dig deeper into the root cause. If you're experiencing slowness, mouse clicks or keyboard strokes seem buggy, or it just seems frozen then a reset my help.
