Usually, your websites load through a blazing fast internet connection at the data center where your Mighty host lives. Starting in version 8.37, Mighty also gives you the option to use your local WiFi network instead. That means you can:
Visit intranet sites like your WiFi router page
Visit websites that are behind a VPN
Use a website from your real location instead of the Mighty server location when the site locates you by your IP address.
How can I use my local connection to load a site?
Easy! From the main Mighty menu, go to Settings -> Local Connection Settings. Here, make sure Enable local connection features is turned on:
Under "Always use local connection for these sites," you can enter a list of sites, separated by commas. Mighty will load these sites using your local connection. Don't forget to click save or just press enter!

Is there a catch?
When Mighty uses your local connection, your data needs to travel from the website to your computer first, and then your computer sends it to Mighty. That means that your internet speed for these sites will be limited by the upload speed of your local connection, and so, likely to be much slower.
Your connection and latency to Mighty itself, including your browser windows, clicks, and keystrokes, will be unaffected.
Do I have to set this up for every single site?
No! Mighty can use your local connection automatically in two ways:
Mighty can automatically use your local connection for internal IP addresses. Specifically, the following address spaces:
10.0.0.0/8
172.16.0.0/12
192.168.0.0/16
Just check the box labeled "Use local connection for intranet IP addresses" to enable this feature.
Mighty can automatically try your local connection if a site's DNS records can't be resolved in the cloud. Just check the box labeled "Try local connection when a site can't be reached" to enable this feature.
