You can participate in a savings group on MiKashBoks in two ways:

  1. You create the group and invite members

  2. You are invited to a group that someone else creates

The screenshots below will walk you through what a group invite looks like and the key information that should let you know if the group is one you wish to join.

Note, if you don't have the app installed you will first receive the invite via an SMS message, after installing you'll be able to accept the invitation.

Group invitations will always appear as a screen width orange card at the top of your dashboard.

They'll also be sent as a notification, which can be found by clicking the bell.

You'll see the person who has invited you and name of the group, if you know them or are expecting the invite, click 'Join Group' and you're set.

If you want more information on the groups rules, swipe left and you can review all the details. Clicking how it works will bring up an example.

At the top you'll see the total members of the group and total trusted members.

Don't automatically worry if members aren't trusted, if they haven't saved with MKB before they wouldn't have built up a trust score.

Scroll left again to see how many common connections you have with the group admin, and a full list of members of the group, including their phone numbers.

Lastly decide if you want to join the group or decline. You can always contact the group admin with more questions.
