The photographers' starting time really depends on what you want covered. Do you want images of the hair and makeup? What about getting into your dress? Mimosas with the rest of the ladies? Maybe you just want to have photography start at the ceremony location? While every wedding day timeline is unique, we find that it is common for your wedding photographer to start the day shooting with the Bride.  It is recommended that hair and makeup be complete or nearly complete when the photographer arrives. The photographer can then capture the bride’s details and candids of the preparation before moving on to the planned poses of the bride, her attendants, and family.  You can rest assured that your photographer will go over all of these details and more when you have your one month conversation.  This link will help you prepare for that conversation.

Here are some example timelines to help you plan your day
