Admin - How to Add / Edit a User in Milk Moovement

This article covers how to add different user types (including sub-users) and edit their information if needed

This article will help guide you through the process of both adding a new user, and editing an existing user in Milk Moovement!

Adding a New User ➕

  1. Log into the Milk Moovement Portal.

  2. Click 'Users and Assets' in the left-hand menu. Click on the desired user type you're looking to add. (i.e. Driver, Admin, Hauler, etc).

  3. Click “Add [user type] +” in the top right corner of the screen.

  4. Enter a Name, Username, Password (confirm the password), and an Email.
    - Fill out any other required fields, which may differ by user type.

  5. Write down Username and Password to share with the new user.

  6. Click “Add [user type]” at the bottom of the page.

  7. Test out the new user’s account by logging into it before you share the login details.


To create and add sub-users you can hit the "+" icon on the top right corner of the page. The 'Sub-user' tab is a great way to add an individual to Milk Moovement while maintaining control of what data they have access to within the portal.

Note: Sub-users will have various permissions options that you can check to enable; When setting up a sub-user, ensure that the permissions are setup correctly and they are only able to view the data that you want them to see.

Different User types will have different Permissions within each of the sections - expand each selection to review the permissions within and select the appropriate options.

Editing an Existing User ✏️

  1. Log into Milk Moovement.

  2. From the left hand menu, select “Users and Assets”. Once loaded, click on the appropriate User Type.

  3. Locate (or search for) the desired user. Click on the Kebab menu to the left-hand side of the desired user and select 'Edit'.

  4. Make the appropriate adjustments and click “Edit User” at the bottom of the page to save.

Adding an Existing User 👤

  1. When attempting to add a new user oftentimes an error message appears to say that the user already exists.

2. In this case please reach out to the Milk Moovement support team through either email or the chat function and they will create the account on your behalf and link the new account to the user's existing accounts.

While on any page within the Milk Moovement portal, you will also see our resident cow, Mooreen, in the top right corner.
