Driver - Enabling Location Services (Android)

Allowing Milk Moovement to access your Location on your Android device.

Some Co-ops require their Drivers to have Location permission enabled so that they're able to track the location of a load in real-time.

Including location permissions as part of the app's setup process ensures its smooth operation, as it allows the system to provide accurate location services essential for functionality.

Please read the below steps for more information on enabling Location Settings.

Enabling these permissions ensures optimal functionality and enhances the user experience during app usage.

  1. Locate the Settings app on your device; you'll want to look for a Gear icon with 'Settings' below it.

  2. Scroll until you find 'Apps', or use the search bar at the top to search for 'Apps'; tap to enter the Apps folder.

  3. Once in the Apps folder, look for App Info and then scroll through the alphabetical list until you locate 'Milk Moovement'. Tap Milk Moovement.

  4. On the Milk Moovement App Info page, tap the 'Permissions' option, then tap 'Location'.

  5. You'll want to choose the 'Allow all the time' option so that Milk Moovement can have access to your location while you're completing your Route, even if you don't have the app actively open/ being used.

  6. Once you've got your Location Services enabled (All the Time) you can proceed with using Milk Moovement as usual, without receiving the popup asking you to allow Location access.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  1. Missed Prompt During Setup: If no prompt appears during your first use, close the app and reopen it. Alternatively, manually set location permissions to "Always On" through the app settings on your device.

  2. Persistent Issues: If the app continues not to prompt or doesn’t recognize the changes, uninstall and reinstall the app to refresh its settings. Contact Milk Moovement's 24-hour support for further help if the issue persists.>
