This article will provide additional information about how to proceed when getting an error message about an In-Progress Dropoff when trying to add a Dropoff normally.

When attempting to add a Dropoff to an existing load, you may be notified that your Dropoff could not be added due to an existing Dropoff in Progress.

This indicates that a Driver started the Dropoff process on the Milk Moovement Driver App, but has not yet completed their Dropoff.

You can allow the driver to finish their Dropoff from the Driver App, or you can complete the In-Progress Dropoff from the web portal.

✅ Completing an In-Progress Dropoff

When a load reaches the Departure status, you can transition it into a Dropoff directly from the Route Sessions page or the Receiving page. Here's how:

  1. Locate the load you wish to complete the Dropoff for. Use the Inspect Route Session option from the Route Session page OR from the Receiving page click on the three-dotted vertical button situated on the far left of each row.

  2. Select "Complete Dropoff" from the options that appear. This action will prompt a form to appear, as shown below.

  3. Enter the Tare Weight (Scaled Plant) or Metered Amount (Metered Plant), and attach the relevant slips.

  4. Once all necessary information is entered, click on "Done" located at the bottom right of the form.

  5. A confirmation message similar to the one below will appear to indicate that the Dropoff has been successfully created!
