Mini vs Micro
A Mini (standard) contract is the full-size futures contract. Micros are a fraction of it: MES, MNQ, MGC, MHG, MCL and MBT are 1/10 of the standard contract, and SIL is 1/5 of SI. QM and QG are E-mini contracts (1/2 of CL and 1/4 of NG). PL, HO and RB are available in standard size only. Smaller sizes are ideal for finer position sizing and tighter risk management. Your contract limits count Minis and Micros together (1 Mini = 10 Micros).
