Understanding the Query Centre

What is the Query Centre?

The Query Centre is similar to the Holding Pen, but instead of showing errored MINDA events, it displays errors for any information added outside of MINDA such as Herd Tests, AB Tech Matings etc.

To keep your MINDA account in good health, we recommend checking and resolving queries as they come through.


Checking Queries

Go to the Query Centre from the dashboard.

Here, you'll see outstanding queries along with a description and the number of animals affected.


Managing Queries

Each query includes a description and a recommendation for resolving it. Some queries can be resolved directly in MINDA, while others may require contacting the LIC Customer Experience Centre.


Common Queries

Scenario

Resolution

Example A - Herd Test result query for animal #5 stating:

“Animal has a Dry Off Date”.

Record a Calving for animal #5 to show she was in milk before having a Herd Test.

Example B - Mating query for animal #10 stating:

“Animal has another mating on this date”.

Contact the LIC Customer Experience Centre and let them know which mating is incorrect and should be removed.

Example C - Queries stating:

“Animal is Frozen”.

This means a previous query is blocking any further event information being added. You must resolve the original issue first.
