What is the difference between IV and sublingual administration?
Updated over a week ago

The main difference between the two methods of administration is bioavailability. In other words, your body absorbs more of the medication when administered through an IV.

Our clinicians use a starting dose of 5mg/kg of body weight. This is comparable to the 0.5mg/kg gold IV standard. The metric we use looks higher than the IV dosing because of the difference in bioavailability between sublingual ketamine and IV ketamine.
