Do I need a Peer Treatment Monitor (PTM)?
Updated this week

Yes, you'll need a Peer Treatment Monitor (PTM).

A PTM is a trusted individual who supports you during your sessions by ensuring a safe and focused environment. This could be a partner, family member, or close friend.

Their presence is required to monitor safety and assist during the session. They should be prepared to contact your guide for non-emergency concerns and call emergency services if necessary (despite being highly uncommon).

If you lack a PTM, you must reschedule your session. Guidance on finding and understanding the role of a PTM can be found here.
