Immediately Post-Session

Typically, the mental effects of the medication will subside within an hour, but you may continue to feel some physical effects for up to three hours. Itโ€™s important to rest until these sensations fully dissipate.

Allow yourself ample time to recover before resuming normal activities, as feelings of grogginess or disorientation could last into the evening. In the time following your session, be sure to avoid:

  • Avoid operating heavy machinery or driving.

  • Refrain from consuming alcohol or other substances.

  • Avoid making major life decisions or acting on them, as you may still be influenced by the medication.

Integrate Your Session

The period immediately following your ketamine session is critical for maximizing the therapeutic benefits due to heightened neuroplasticity through integration.

Integration is the practice of translating your Mindbloom session experiences and insights into meaningful improvements in your everyday life.

At Mindbloom, we provide integration support through three unique offerings:

  • Group Integration Circles: Join our daily, themed, and free guide-moderated sessions to connect, process, and heal alongside other clients.

  • 1:1 Integration: Deepen your session insights and fast-track your progress with personalized one-on-one integration sessions led by your guide.

  • In-App Integration Resources: Explore a range of expertly curated integration tools and resources available in the Mindbloom app.

Symptom Improvement

The effects of ketamine therapy can vary widely. Some individuals may notice a significant improvement in mood within 24 hours, while others might experience gradual changes over several weeks.

If you're not noticing improvements in your symptoms, please reach out to your guide in the app, or contact us.
