We’d like to introduce you to the Security tab and walk you through the key features available in this section to help you manage and protect your account effectively.
IP address verification
If you’re on holiday and need to access your business account, you’ll first be asked to verify your IP address via email. Once the verification is complete, you’ll be able to log in and use your account as usual.
Removing an IP address from the whitelist
But what if you don’t want anyone in your company to see this IP address? Or if your account was compromised from a particular IP? No worries, we've got you covered. Simply go to the Security tab:
Then you need to go to the IP Whitelist section and select the IP you want to remove.
The deleted IP address will no longer have access to your MinFee account.
Changing the active session time
You can also change the length of your active session in the Security section. There are different timeframes available — from 15 minutes up to 1 hour. When setting the session timeout, however, please keep in mind the importance of protecting your account from unauthorized access.
Change password
As a security measure, we recommend updating your password every three months. This can be easily done in the Security section — simply click the Change button next to the password field.
