You can easily start monetizing your know-how by setting up a payment gateway for your collection. Mini Course Generator makes this practical and quick with its direct integrations with the payment service providers Stripe, Lemon Squeezy and Pabbly. It is also possible to use payment service providers such as Paypal, Shopify and others through Zapier and Make integrations. Besides, all payments are directly transferred to your payment service providers immediately, with no commission cut by Mini Course Generator.

We’re going to use the Stripe integration to set up a pay-wall for your collection in this article.

Setting Up Connections

Set your Learners’ Access as Enable access behind a pay-wall and choose Stripe as your payment processor.

💡 This setting modifies access for all your mini-courses in the related collection. If you want to sell a single mini-course, you should create a new collection, move your mini-course to the new collection and then set up your pay-wall.

Create your payment link on Stripe and paste it to your Learners’ Access tab.

💡 While creating your product, you can choose to be paid on subscription model or one time payment model.

Copy the payment success URL and add it to your After Payment action in your payment link.

💡 Using our payment success page, your learners will be able to access your mini-courses seamlessly after payment.

Add Webhook to Stripe.

  • Copy the webhook URL from LearnersAccess tab. Go to Developers at the top of your Stripe dashboard. Go to Webhooks tab, click on Add Endpoint.

  • Paste the webhook URL to endpoint URL section. Then, click on Select events and add these events:

    Checkout

    Select all checkout events

    Customer

    customer.subscription.deleted

    customer.subscription.updated

  • Click on add events and add endpoint.

💡 Correct events must be added to the webhook, otherwise your pay-wall may not work successfully.

Finish setting up and test your pay-wall.

Once you go back to your Mini Course Generator dashboard and click on done, your pay-wall is all set. To check whether everything is set correctly, it is possible to test the Stripe pay-wall yourself on test mode.

How learners access after payment

Here’s how it looks to buy a collection from learners’ end, step by step.

Mini-courses or collections are designed to be shared online using their link, or to be embedded in other webpages. A new learner encounters your content through the share link or your webpage.

ℹ️ For your learners that won’t be able to complete the content in one sitting, or would like to revisit your content later on, make sure to share your content with your learners somewhere they can reach repeatedly.

Learner enters email address information.

The Learner receives the payment link via email.

Learner makes the payment and accesses the collection.

We store learner information using browser cookies, so that learners can access your Mini Courses again and again without the need of email address verification every time. If a new device or browser tries to access your collection, they will run into a pop-up that asks for full name and email address verification.

All access links expire when clicked on so that it is not possible to share your content with those who did not pay. Your valuable knowledge is secure and in good hands with Mini Course Generator.

Edit your Landing Page

Mini Course Generator allows you to edit your collection landing page by features such as adding a badge and your logo, displaying a price tag, embedding media, customizing the share link by adding a custom domain and more.

You can create an aesthetically inviting collection using these features under the Overview tab of your collection.

Track your Learners

Now that your learners have successfully paid for, accessed and enjoyed your collection, it’s time to track their progress. Analytics give information about which cards your learners completed, what answers they gave to questions and more.

The analytics tab of your Collection allows you to see important data about your learners' journey specific to the Collection. You can choose to see data for all Min Courses in the Collection, or see data for each Mini Course in the Collection specifically.

You can download learner analytics for each Mini Course by clicking on Analytics button of your Mini Course on your admin dashboard or the Report button on top right corner of your Mini Course edit screen.
