How do I take good photos?

Updated over 3 months ago

Here are our top 5 tips for taking good photos:

  • Natural daylight usually works better than artificial lighting. If you’re shooting indoors, make sure the light is bright and white.

  • Keep your photos sharp and in focus - blurry images make it harder for buyers to see what they’re getting and for our AI to recognise.

  • Detail shots are super helpful, especially close-ups of the size label and care label, so all information can be captured accurately.

  • If the item has any flaws, take separate photos of them or mention them in the description.

  • Try to photograph your item straight on (at a 180° angle) so the camera is level with the product.

And remember: the more high-quality photos you upload (at least two!), the more accurate our prediction - and the better your chances of making a sale.
