Here’s the secret sauce that our customers have used to grow their second-hand store and make a difference in the world.
Before launch
1. Print some QR Code Posters: Put a QR code in the window, and at the checkout, linking to your Minimist shop. Here’s an example.
2. Put the web-store directly in you Google Maps/My Business link
How to do this:
Log in through business.google.com
Find “Edit Business Information” or similar
3. Make sure Minimist is linked from your website as a direct link like:
On Launch day
1. Social Media is key: showcase on your social media profiles (IG, TikTok etc.)
A Story every day with ~5 scanned pieces, putting the Minimist link in for customers to instantly reserve
Note: add the information to “reserve and pick up in store” in your stories if you have a physical store with pick up only
Use the “link” sticker to add the specific URL, like: https://minimist.at/listings/lst_2qoViVbwYmelSHFWPLQI96gDEkL
2. Put some flyers up in your local area - don’t forget to put a QR code on them that link to your webshop
Local newsletters are also a good idea
