How do I promote my webshop?

We think second-hand stores are climate champions and make the world a much better place, so go you!

Here’s the secret sauce that our customers have used to grow their second-hand store and make a difference in the world. These tips are ranked a bit “in order” of how successful they are.

Before launch day

For stores with a physical location:

  • Print QR-code posters and place them in your window or at checkout so customers can easily access your Minimist shop.

  • Add a link to your Minimist web-store on Google Maps / Google Business.

For every store:

  • Link to the Minimist webshop from your existing website (if you have one). You can include a link as a banner on the top of the page.

On launch day

  • Social Media is key: showcase on your social media profiles (IG, TikTok etc.)

    • A Story every day with ~5 scanned pieces, putting the Minimist link in for customers to instantly reserve

    • Note: add the information to “reserve and pick up in store” in your stories if you have a physical store with pick up only

    • Use the “link” sticker to add the specific URL

  • Put some flyers up in your local area: Also with the QR code on

    • Local newsletters are also a good idea

  • Hidden Treasure Campaign: Promote one item in your store with a secret 90% discount code - customers have to find it online!
