Here’s the secret sauce that our customers have used to grow their second-hand store and make a difference in the world. These tips are ranked a bit “in order” of how successful they are.
Before launch day
For stores with a physical location:
Print QR-code posters and place them in your window or at checkout so customers can easily access your Minimist shop.
Add a link to your Minimist web-store on Google Maps / Google Business.
For every store:
Link to the Minimist webshop from your existing website (if you have one). You can include a link as a banner on the top of the page.
On launch day
Social Media is key: showcase on your social media profiles (IG, TikTok etc.)
Put some flyers up in your local area: Also with the QR code on
Local newsletters are also a good idea
Hidden Treasure Campaign: Promote one item in your store with a secret 90% discount code - customers have to find it online!
