The ChangeCourierService Order Rule action modifies the Courier Service of an Order according to various conditions. This can be beneficial if you wish to alter the courier service based on factors such as PostCode, Weight, Country, SKU, and so on.
To set up the order rule action, please follow the steps below:
Click Settings then Order Rules.
Next, click Add New Rule.
Select the Action as ChangeCourierService.
Remember to click Update before scrolling down to add conditions or progress will be lost.
Example - Change based on the time or day
You want to change the courier service based on the Day and Time of day that an order has been received.
Action: ChangeCourierService.
Param: (The service you want to change it to).
Condition Type: AND.
OrderRuleConditions -
Time
Field: OrderDateTimeOfDay.
Operator: GreaterThan.
Value: 12:00:00.
Day
Field: OrderDateDayOfWeek.
Operator: Equals.
Value: Friday.
