The MarkPackAndHold order rule action will mark the order as PACKANDHOLD, the rule doesn't allow you to add a date for when the order should be released from this status, this will need to be done manually by yourself or another Warehouse User. You can use this action to hold orders coming into the system that meet certain conditions.
The MarkPackAndHoldEndOfMonth order rule action will mark the order as PACKANDHOLD and add a Required Despatch Date for the end of the current month (Order imports December 5th, it will show the Required Despatch Date as 31st December) . Once the order reaches the end of the month it will be released ready for fulfillment. You can use this order rule action to hold orders coming into the system that meet certain conditions until the end of the current month.
