Shopify - Custom Bundle

More and more stores are offering customers the option to build their own bundle rather than having a predetermined pack.

To achieve this in Mintsoft there are a few different routes to go down.

Mapping the items with Meta Mapping

This option allows you to map each item in Mintsoft via Meta Mapping, please review the Shopify Integration article before continuing with this method.

  • bundleitem: This must map to a Bundle SKU in Mintsoft and it'll get broken down into Components that Mintsoft has under the bundle.

  • singlebundleitem: This maps directly to normal SKUs, assuming a QTY of one unit.

Dynamic Product Options - App

Dynamic Product Options assign a proper SKU to the order, this solution means if whichever app you are using is using custom fields instead for the product option selections and not actually using SKUs.

For more information, please review Shopify's Dynamic Product Options guide.

You will need to make a base SKU in Mintsoft, that will act as a placeholder for a bundle. The base SKU will then need to be added as a product in Shopify. You do not need to assign any stock to this base SKU.

You do not need to create a bundle in Mintsoft, as the base SKU will be recognised by Mintsoft as the bundle instead.

You'll then need to add all the component SKUs into Mintsoft.

Once an order imports with the base SKU, the order will contain all the component SKUs selected by the customer.
