Setting up charges
To set goods in charge, please do the following:
Click Clients then Overview.
Search for the Client.
Click Actions then Edit.
Within the client details click the Goods In tab.
Enter your costs.
Finally, click Save.
Decimal Places
Goods In Cost Per SKU and Goods In Cost Per Stock Unit have five decimal places to allow for more accurate billing for clients with large numbers expected.
Note: ASNs do not move to Invoiced until overnight so the goods in charge will be displayed the following day.
Different charge types
You can set up the system to charge on the following basis:
Per Delivery Size only
The system will simply charge for the size of delivery received regardless of the number of units or SKUs.
e.g. 20ft Container Charge = £150 x 2 received = £300 total charges to customer.
To do this just enter prices for delivery sizes and leave Per SKU and Per Stock Unit as 0.0.
Per Delivery Size & Per SKU
The system will charge for the size of the delivery and the count of the number of SKUs.
Cartons = 10.
No of SKUS = 50.
Carton charge = 10 x £0.50 = 5.00.
SKU Charge = 50 x £0.25 = 12.50.
Total = £17.50.
To set this up enter a charge for each delivery size & per SKU and leave Per Stock Unit as 0.0.
Per Delivery Size & Per Stock Unit
The system will charge for the size of the delivery and the total amount of individual units received.
Pallets = 1.
No of Units = 500.
Pallet charge = 1 x £1.50 = 1.50.
Per Unit Charge = 500 x £0.10 = 50.00.
Total = £51.50.
To set this up enter a charge for each delivery size, per stock unit and leave Per SKU as 0.0.
Per Delivery Size & Per SKU & Per Stock Unit
The system will charge for the size of the delivery, the total amount of individual units received, and the total count of SKUs:
Pallets = 1.
No of Units = 500.
No of SKUs = 50.
Per Unit Charge = 500 x £0.10 = 50.00.
SKU Charge = 50 x £0.25 = 12.50.
Pallet charge = 1 x £1.50 = 1.50.
Total = £64.00.
To set this up enter a charge for each option.
Per SKU & Per Stock Unit
The system will charge for the total number of SKUs and units on the delivery:
Pallets = 1.
No of Units = 500.
No of SKUs = 50.
Per Unit Charge = 500 x £0.10 = 50.00.
SKU Charge = 50 x £0.25 = 12.50.
Total = £62.50.
To set this up - simply add a charge Per SKU and Per Stock Unit and leave the delivery size values on 0.0 (containers, pallets and cartons).
Per SKU Only
The system will charge for the total number of SKUs and units on the delivery:
Pallets = 1.
No of Units = 500.
No of SKUs = 50.
SKU Charge = 50 x £0.25 = 12.50.
Total = £12.50.
To set this up - simply add a charge for Per SKU and Per Stock Unit and leave Per Stock Unit & the delivery size values on 0.0 (containers, pallets and cartons).
Per Stock Unit Only
The system will charge for the total number of SKUs and units on the delivery:
Pallets = 1.
No of Units = 500.
No of SKUs = 50.
Per Stock Unit Charge = 500 x £0.10 = 50.00.
Total = £50.00.
To set this up - simply add a charge for Per SKU and Per Stock Unit and leave Per SKU & the delivery size values on 0.0 (containers, pallets and cartons).
When you receive an ASN now it will be broken down separately on unconfirmed invoice items.
The system will display how it has charged each delivery on a size, SKU or unit basis.
