Overview

Batch templates allow a specific set of batch creation selections to be saved - thereby reducing order processing time if the same filters are used throughout the day. When creating batch templates, all filters set must be met for a batch to be created, if one or more of the filters are not met, the order won't be included in the batch.

Create a Batch Template for existing orders

To create a batch template for orders that already exist in the system, please do the following:

  1. Click Picking & Packing then Manage Batches.

  2. Next, click Create New Batch.

  3. Make your filter selections on the batch screen.

  4. Add a Reference.

  5. Toggle the setting Save Batch as Template? to ON.

  6. Select Create Batch.

This will create the batch and save the batch settings as a template.

Create a Batch Template for future orders

To create a batch template for future orders, please do the following:

  1. Click Picking & Packing then Manage Batches.

  2. Next, click Templates then Add Template.

  3. Create a template using the filters shown below -

    • (3PL Only) Client.

    • Warehouse and Zone.

    • Courier or Courier Service: Can only select one of the two.

    • Courier Service Type: The courier service type applied to the orders, normally this is Standard.

    • Channel: The order channel.

    • Exclude Tags: Orders containing excluded tags will not be batched.

      • This is an AND condition, means orders must NOT contain ANY of the excluded tags.

    • Include Tags: Orders containing included tags will be batched.

      • This is an AND condition, means orders must contain ALL specified tags.
