Applying a Client User Type to a user account will set the roles and permissions automatically to the account. Creating a Client User Type can be used as a template for applying roles to client user accounts.

Creating a Client User Type
To create a new Client User Type to be applied to client user accounts please follow the steps below:
Click Settings then Client User Accounts.
Next, click User Types then Add User Type.
Provide a Template Name.
Tick the relevant permissions you want for the user type.
Finally, click Create.
Editing an existing Client User Type
Updating an existing Client User Type will not update existing Client User Accounts, it will only apply to new accounts. To edit an existing Client User Type please follow the steps below:
Click Settings then Client User Accounts.
Next, click User Types.
Select the User Type you want to edit.
Then, click Edit User Type.
Add or remove the permissions you want for the user type.
You cannot rename the User Type.
Finally, click Update.
Deleting a Client User Type
To delete a Client User Type please follow the steps below:
Click Settings then Client User Accounts.
Next, click User Types.
Select the User Type you want to delete.
Then, click Edit User Type.
Finally, click Delete Client User Type.
Applying a Client User Type
To a new Client User Account
As part of the Client User Account creation process, you will be offered to select the User Type
To an existing Client User Account
Applying a User Type to an existing Client User Account will only add any missing/ updated permissions, it won't remove any. To apply a User Type to an existing Client User Account, please follow the steps below:
Click Settings then Client User Accounts.
Next, search for the Client User Account you want to update.
Click Actions then Manage Roles.
Within the Apply User Type section, select the User Type to apply then click Update.
Finally, scroll to the bottom of the Manage Client User Roles section and click Update.
This will bring you back to the Client User Accounts page.
