Courier Print Tool - Setup and how to

Prerequisite - Computer Time Zone

Currently, Mintsoft only supports the London GMT Timezone when using the print tool on a computer. This will change in the future but for now, only the London GMT Timezone is supported.


Prerequisite - Getting your account ready to log into the Courier Print Tool

To log into the Courier Print Tool, you will need to know the following:

  • Enable the Print Using Print Tool user setting.

    1. In Mintsoft click Settings then User Settings.

    2. Set Print Using Print Tool to ON.

    3. Click Save.

  • Your Email Address used in Access Evo OR your Mintsoft Username (If setup as a username member on Access Evo, or if you were added directly into Mintsoft historically).

  • A Mintsoft Password. The Courier Print Tool does not support Access Evo logins so you will need a direct Mintsoft Password.

    1. In Mintsoft click Settings then Change Password.

    2. Enter the password you wish to use for the Courier Print Tool.

  • (Evo/Workspace login only) Organisation Name. Details to obtain this found below.

Note: You must always to be logged in to Mintsoft and the Print Tool with the same account.


Download the Print Tool

To download and install the Courier Print Tool, click Settings and then Download Print Tool. From here, simply open the program and click install. This is considered the standard process for printing shipping labels in Mintsoft.


Logging into the Print Tool

To log into the Courier Print Tool, please follow the steps below:

  1. You can log into the Print Tool with one of the following methods -

  2. Use Standard Login (Default).

  3. Use Evo/Workspace Login (Only if set up as a Username member via Access Evo).

    • Organisation: Enter your Organisation Name (Same as shown on Access Evo).

      • Example: Mintsoft-3pl.

    • Username: Enter your Evo Username.

      • Example: warehouse.picker1.

    • Password: Enter your Password from Mintsoft.

  4. Click Remember Login Details to save the information for next time.

  5. Finally, click Login.


Setting up the Print Tool​​​​​

To set up the Print Tool and configure your printers, please follow the steps below:

  1. Once logged in, within the Print Tool click Settings then choose your default Printers for different size documents.

    • 4 x 6 labels will be sent to the 4 x 8 printer.

    • We also recommend you assign a printer to each print size even if the size won't be used.

  2. Click Save Settings.

  3. Close and reopen the print tool to apply changes.

How to find your Organisation Name

If you are unsure of your Organisation Name, you can retrieve this from Access Evo by following below:

  1. Login to Access Evo.

  2. Click on your name at the top right-hand corner.

  3. Click Organisation settings.

  4. Click profile.

  5. You should be able to see the Organisation Name. Make a note of the Organisation Name and use it for login.


Customers with Windows 7 Operating Systems

Customers using Windows 7 operating system please enable TLS 1.2. For these earlier versions of Windows, please install Update 3140245 to enable the registry value, which can be set to add TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 to the default secure protocols list for WinHTTP. Once the patch is installed, please follow the steps listed in the following Forum.
