Offshore postcodes often incur additional shipping surcharges and require special handling in your shipping configuration. This feature allows you to identify and manage postcodes that fall outside standard delivery areas, such as Scottish islands, Channel Islands, and other remote locations.
By setting up offshore postcodes in Mintsoft, you can:
Automatically identify orders going to offshore locations.
Apply appropriate surcharges or redirect to alternative courier services.
Avoid unexpected delivery charges from carriers.
Ensure accurate shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
You can add offshore postcodes individually through the interface or upload them in bulk using a spreadsheet. Once configured, you can create mapping rules to automatically redirect orders containing these postcodes to more suitable courier services.
Note: Offshore mapping takes priority over other courier selection rules, including default product rules, ensuring that offshore deliveries are handled correctly.
