Etsy Integration Features

  • Order sync.

  • Stock and Product sync.

  • Despatch Updates (Status and Tracking info).


Prerequisite - Authorising/ Re-authorising the Etsy connection

If you access Mintsoft through Workspace or a Whitelabelled (Custom) site, you must log in through om.mintsoft.co.uk to authorise or re-authorise the Etsy integration.


Prerequisite - Obtaining the Shop Name, Shop ID and User ID

To integrate Etsy with Mintsoft you must know your Shop Name, Shop ID and User ID. To obtain this information, please follow the steps below:

  • Shop Name: Your Shop Name can be found at the end of your Etsy Store URL.

  • Shop ID and User ID: To find your Shop ID and User ID, please do the following:

    1. Log out of your Etsy account or open an incognito window.

    2. Enter your shop URL in the browser's address bar (example: etsy.com/shop/Mintsoft).

    3. Next, hover your cursor over the Contact button.

    4. You will see a URL appear in the bottom-left corner of your browser.

      • The first green line is the Shop ID and the 2nd is the User ID.


Adding the Etsy connection in Mintsoft

To add a new Etsy connection in Mintsoft, please do the following:

  1. Click Connect, then Order Integrations.

  2. Next, click Etsy.

  3. Click Add Account.

  4. (3PL Only) Select the Client.

  5. Select the Warehouse.

  6. Enter your Shop Name, Shop ID, and User ID.

  7. Enable Stock Sync and set the Stock Sync Frequency (Minutes).

  8. (Optional) Enable Product Sync and set the Product Sync Frequency (Hours).

  9. (If Stock Sync is enabled) Enable ImportListingIDs.

    • This will import the Listing ID and map it to the Alt Code of the SKU.

    • Once enabled, Mintsoft will automatically add the Listing ID to the Alt Code of the SKU.

  10. Keep UseInventory disabled.

    • This is a legacy setting and has been replaced with Stock Sync.

  11. Set the connection to Active when ready.

  12. (If you ship internationally) Enter a Connection IOSS.

  13. Finally, click Add.

  14. Next, click Authorise Account against the connection you just added.

  15. Login to your Etsy account when prompted, then, select Grant Access.

  16. You will be returned to Mintsoft and the connection will show as authorised.

Re-authorising existing Etsy accounts to use the Mintsoft App

For customers with an existing Etsy connection who want to reauthorise their account, you will need to follow the steps below to remove the existing integration from your Etsy account and update it to use our Mintsoft App:

  1. Login into your Etsy account.

  2. Click Integrations, then Manage.

  3. Disconnect your existing integration.

  4. Next within Mintsoft Click Connect, then Order Integrations.

  5. Next, click Etsy.

  6. Click Reauthorise Account against the affected connection.

  7. Login to your Etsy account when prompted, then, select Grant Access.

  8. You will be returned to Mintsoft and the connection will show as authorised.

Etsy Listing Mappings

The Listing Mappings feature in the Etsy integration is a legacy tool that was previously used to manually link the Etsy listing ID to the SKU’s Alt Code in Mintsoft. This functionality has now been upgraded—simply enabling the toggle in the connection configuration allows Mintsoft to automatically import the Listing ID and assign it as an Alt Code to the SKU.
