Setting a default picking location in bulk
By default, when a product is initially created it won't have a default picking location set, it is advised to have a default picking location for every product. If you want to update the product's Default Pick Location in bulk, please do the following:
Click Warehouse then Extras.
Next, click Upload Bulk Warehouse Spreadsheets.
To set a new default location, an inventory record must already exist for the product.
In the Download section, select DefaultPicking as the Template.
Next, click Download.
Complete the template as per below -
Client: (3PL Only) Enter the Client associated with the Product.
SKU: Enter the SKU you want to update.
Warehouse: Which Warehouse is the product located in.
Location: Enter the Default Pick Location you wish to use.
Transfer Stock: Enter TRUE to move unassigned stock to the location, alternatively enter FALSE.
Once filled in click Save.
In the Upload section, select DefaultPicking as the Type.
Click Choose file to browse and upload the file.
Finally, click Upload.
