Overview
You can bulk update orders within Mintsoft and change multiple orders in one go. For example, if you receive orders with no weight attached, you may want to update them in bulk. If you are a 3PL you can use this CSV to update Clients' orders in bulk as well. Orders showing as Invoiced cannot be updated/ amended.
Note: To make changes to orders manually on Mintsoft, please review our Update an Order help guide.
Order changes available
The following changes/ updates can be made to orders in bulk:
Order Weight.
Number of Parcels.
Courier Service.
Enter the Name of the Courier Service (Example: DPD Next Day - Parcel).
Order Value.
Adding/ Removing SKUs.
Orders importing from an external source (Shopify, Amazon, etc.) could generate errors when adding or removing SKUs.
VAT/ EORI Number.
Note: Address and contact information cannot be updated in bulk. This must be updated Manually within Mintsoft.
How to update orders in bulk
To update orders in bulk, please do the following:
Click Orders then Overview.
Next, click Bulk Actions.
Click Download BulkUpdate Template.
Fill in the CSV with the changes you want to make.
Then you can upload the CSV.
Back on Mintsoft, select BulkUpdate as the Action.
(3PL Only) Select the Client.
Click Choose File and search for the CSV.
Finally, click Upload.
Updating Orders FAQ
What details of the order can't be updated in bulk?
The following order fields cannot be updated in bulk through CSV:
Tracking Numbers.
To update tracking numbers on Orders in bulk you can use an FTP Import or a Custom API.
Gift Messages.
Can invoiced orders be updated in bulk?
Invoiced orders cannot be updated in bulk, once the order has left the warehouse the details cannot be changed.
