Product Subscriptions allow you to create repeat orders for products ordered on a subscription.

Note: You cannot add a bundle - you will need the add the component SKUs of the bundle individually.

Adding a Subscription

To add a product subscription please do the following:

  1. Click Products then Add New Subscription

  2. Fill in the details -

    • (3PL Only) Client.

    • SKU: This is the identifier of the Subscription.

    • Name: What is the Subscription called.

    • SubscriptionLength: How long it will last (If set to 7 and frequency is Daily then it will run for 7 days).

    • SubscriptionFrequency.

  3. Click Next.

  4. Add the required items.

  5. Choose the Delivery Order for each item.

Orders will be created with a future release date and held in PACKANDHOLD status on the system until the date is reached for the subscription plan.

Discontinuing/ Deleting a Subscription

If you no longer need a subscription and wish to stop it, please do the following:

  1. Click Products then Overview.

  2. Search for the Subscription SKU.

  3. Click Actions then Edit.

  4. Turn the Discontinued toggle to ON.

  5. Finally, click Save.

Managing an existing Subscription

To manage, change or update an existing Subscription, please do the following:

  1. Click Products then Overview.

  2. Search for the Subscription SKU.

  3. Click Actions then Manage Subscription.

  4. Make the relevant changes.

  5. Finally, click Back.

Adjusting the time frame for generating orders

You can adjust the time frame that the future dated orders get created in the system by navigating to:

  1. Click Clients then Overview.

  2. Find the client.

  3. Then Edit Client.

  4. Click Defaults.

If you want future dated subscription orders to be generated instantly, then set the value as 0.

If you want the orders to appear in the system, 1 week before they are due to be despatched - set the value to 7, and so on.

The value you select here, depends on how frequently you book stock into the system.

Back-Orders

If you regularly book stock into the system - we recommend using a creation delay of at least 7 days, otherwise, subscription orders may go onto back-order, causing issues with the automatic subscription logic.
