Overview
With the Automatically Mark Shipment as Despatch function, you will no longer have to click the despatch button once the shipment has been created.
β
You should only use this setting with the courier tool installed & running, otherwise, you will not get the option to print the label manually!
Additionally, Mintsoft allows you to control dispatches more precisely by configuring options to prevent manual dispatch in cases where shipment labels are not generated. This ensures adherence to proper shipment workflows.
Enable Auto Despatch
To set up the ability to automatically mark an order as despatched from Mintsoft when the courier label has been generated, please follow the steps below:
Understanding and implementing these configurations can help streamline your dispatch processes and reduce errors related to unlabelled orders.
Click Settings then User Settings.
Next, click the Picking Defaults tab.
Enable Auto Despatch Order Once Shipment Is Successfully Created.
Click Save.
The system will now automatically despatch orders as soon as the shipment is created successfully on the Scan Actions screen and take you back to the Picking & Packing screen ready for the next scan.
Note: Orders will fail to be automatically despatched if they import into Mintsoft and have the error Unable to find Valid Courier Service Mapping for Value.
Enabling both auto options
If you also have the Auto Request Shipping Label function enabled, you will be taken back to the Picking & Packing screen ready to scan for the next label and despatch without seeing the scan-actions page.
So only enable these settings on user accounts where the scan actions page is not needed for re-work or any other shipping modifications.
