Overview

When Drop Ship products are set up in the system, any orders for those products will be excluded from fulfillment by the warehouse. The system can also optionally send an alert to the designated Drop Ship supplier. You can assign multiple suppliers and allocate specific product groups to each. If an order contains both warehouse-fulfilled items and Drop Ship items, Mintsoft will automatically split the order and process each part accordingly. Drop Ship products are treated as non-fulfillable within Mintsoft.

Note: Drop Shipping is not supported for the following integrations: NOTHS, ETSY, eBay, CSV Upload, Channel Advisor, API and Manual Input.

Creating a Drop Ship supplier

The first step in setting up Drop Ship products is to create a Drop Ship supplier by doing the following:

  1. Click Products then Drop Ship Products.

  2. Next, click Suppliers then Add New Supplier.

  3. Enter the Drop Ship Supplier details.

    • The Email is optional but required if you want email alerts sent to this Drop Shipper.

  4. Finally, click Create.

Creating Drop Ship products manually

Once you have created the Drop Ship supplier, the next step is to create the Drop Ship products by doing the following:

  1. Click Products then Drop Ship Products.

  2. Next, click Add New DropShip Product.

  3. Select the DropShipSupplierId.

  4. Enter the Product SKU and Name.

    • If this is an existing product that you want drop shipping, please make sure they are the same.

  5. Set the Shipping Zone for DropShip Product Enabled for Countries in Selected Shipping Zone.

    • The shipping zone field would automatically get populated to All if left blank.

    • All is not a valid shipping zone and causes orders not to be imported into Mintsoft.

    • If all countries are required, please make a Shipping Zone containing all the countries.

  6. Switch Active to ON.

    • You can de-activate later if situations change.

  7. Finally, click Create.
