Product shipping settings control how items are packaged and dispatched. These settings apply to individual products and help ensure accurate shipping calculations.

Edit shipping settings for a product

  1. Go to Products then click Overview.

  2. Search for the relevant product.

  3. Click Actions then click Edit.

  4. Click the Extra Details tab.

Available shipping fields

The Extra Details tab contains two key shipping settings:

  • Units Per Parcel - Enter the number of units that fit in one parcel. The system uses this to calculate when additional parcels are needed. For example, if you set this to 12, orders for 13 units will require two parcels.

  • Additional Parcels Required When Dispatching - Select this checkbox when a product always needs multiple parcels. Use this for items that ship in separate packages, such as furniture sets where the frame and cushions are dispatched separately.

Note: These settings affect shipping calculations and customer delivery expectations. Review your entries carefully before saving.
