Build Wizard lets you create reusable templates for uploading orders via CSV files. You can map your CSV column names to Mintsoft fields, making future uploads faster and more consistent.
How Build Wizard works
Build Wizard analyses your CSV file structure and creates a mapping template. When you upload future order files with the same format, Mintsoft automatically applies your field mappings.
Note: Mintsoft doesn't store your uploaded CSV files. Once the mapping is complete, the file is removed from the system.
Before you start
Prepare a CSV file with your required column headers.
Remove all order data from the file - include only the header row.
Ensure your CSV uses a consistent delimiter (, ; or |).
Upload and map your spreadsheet
Go to Orders then click Upload New Order.
Click Custom Spreadsheets.
Click Template Build Wizard.
Click Choose File and select your CSV template.
Click Upload.
The system processes your file and displays the results below.
Configure your template settings
Set up your template with these options:
(3PL Only) Client - Select the client this template applies to.
Template Name - Enter a descriptive name to identify this template when uploading orders.
MultiLineOrder - Turn OFF to use single line format instead of multi-line orders.
Delimiter - Select the character that separates your data: comma (,), semicolon (;), or pipe (|).
Map your fields
Match each CSV header to the corresponding Mintsoft field:
In the Header column, you'll see your CSV column names.
In the Mapped Field dropdown, select the matching Mintsoft field.
Select Ignore for any columns you don't need to import.
Mapping example
CSV Header: Customer Order β Mapped Field: OrderNumber
CSV Header: Receivers First Name β Mapped Field: FirstName
CSV Header: Internal Reference β Mapped Field: Ignore
Save your template
Once you've mapped all required fields, click Add to save your template.
Your template is now available for uploading orders. When you upload a CSV file with the same structure, select this template to automatically apply your field mappings.
Tip: Create separate templates for different order sources or clients to streamline your upload process.
