The batch suggester module allows users to increase warehouse efficiency by increasing the number of orders that can be processed at a time by grouping together orders with the same order items and suggesting potential batches. This is a paid module, please discuss this with your Account Manager to learn more.
Prerequisite - Adding roles and permissions
If you cannot see the Batch Suggester Module within the Picking & Packing menu, please do the following:
Click Settings then Warehouse User Accounts.
Find the affected user.
Click Actions then Manage Roles.
Tick the Module-BatchSuggester role group.
Click Update.
Setting up Batch Suggester
To set up a batch suggester on Mintsoft, please do the following:
Click Picking & Packing then Batch Suggester.
Set the Minimum Number Of Products.
Set the Minimum Batch Size.
Specify the Courier or keep as ALL.
Next, click Suggest.
You will then be displayed with all orders that Mintsoft has suggested to be batched together.
Here you will be able the enter a batch reference and create a batch for all the orders on that line.
Next, click Create.
You will be brought to the manage batch screen allowing you to generate shipments and assign picking types.
