Packaging fees let you charge separately for packaging materials and services. You can set these fees at the product level or apply a default fee for all orders from a specific 3PL client. These charges appear in the Packaging Cost column on client invoices.

Set packaging fees for individual products

To add a packaging fee to a specific product:

  1. Click Products then Overview.

  2. Search for your product.

  3. Click Actions then Edit.

  4. Click the Picking / Storage Cost tab.

  5. Enter the fee in the PackagingFee field.

  6. Click Save.

Set packaging fees in bulk

To add packaging fees to multiple products at once:

  1. Click Products then Extras.

  2. Click Upload Products.

  3. Click Download Template.

  4. Complete the spreadsheet, including the Packaging Fee column.

  5. Save the document and re-upload it.

Set default packaging fees for 3PL clients

To apply a standard packaging fee to all orders from a specific client:

  1. Click Clients then Overview.

  2. Search for your client.

  3. Click Actions then Edit.

  4. Click the Picking Costs tab.

  5. Enter the fee in the Default Packaging Fee field.

  6. Click Save.

Note: Product-level packaging fees take priority over client default fees. The packaging fee displays as a separate line item when viewing client invoices.
