Minvo gives you powerful tools to reframe videos for different platforms and storytelling styles. Whether you're creating content for social feeds, reels, or presentations, Minvo’s Framing Modes make it easy to highlight the right part of your video.

Here’s a breakdown of each framing mode and how to use it:

📌 Single Frame

The Single Frame mode keeps the same framing throughout the entire video. It’s perfect for clean, minimal edits where the focus remains consistent.

Use When:

  • You want the speaker or subject to stay centered or fixed.

  • You’re producing short clips with no scene changes.

How to Use:

  1. Select the "Framing" panel.

  2. Choose Single Frame.

  3. Drag the frame to your desired position (center, left, right, etc.).

  4. It will apply to the full length of the video.

📸 Split

Split framing allows you to assign different frames to different segments of your video. Great for showcasing different speakers, switching angles, or creating visual variety.

Use When:

  • You want to change the focus across multiple segments.

  • Your content features multiple people or visuals.

How to Use:

  1. Use Split 50/50 to split the timeline.

  2. Click on each segment, then adjust the frame.

  3. Choose Split from the Framing panel.

  4. The frame will be unique to each selected segment.

🟦 1/3 Frame (Left / Right / Center)

The 1/3 framing option places your subject in one-third of the screen — left, center, or right — creating a balanced composition.

Use When:

  • You’re planning to add text, titles, or subtitles next to the subject.

  • You want a cinematic, clean layout.

How to Use:

  1. Open the Framing panel.

  2. Select 1/3 Left, Center, or Right.

  3. Minvo will automatically reposition the video subject to the third of the screen.

🖼️ Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

PIP mode overlays a small video window on top of another frame — ideal for reaction videos, tutorials, or interviews.

Use When:

  • You want a speaker in the corner while showing a slide or clip.

  • You're layering visual commentary or branding.

How to Use:

  1. In the Framing panel, choose PIP.

  2. Position and resize the secondary video frame.

  3. You can combine this with other effects or B-roll.

🎬 Animated Reframing

Animated framing adds motion to the frame itself — such as slow zoom-ins, pans, or transitions — to draw attention and add visual interest.

Use When:

  • You want dynamic movement in otherwise static shots.

  • You want to add subtle zooms or shifts without splitting segments.

How to Use:

  1. Select a segment or the whole video.

  2. In the Framing panel, select Animated.

  3. Choose from options like Slow Zoom In, Pan Left, or Pan Right.

  4. Minvo will animate the framing smoothly across the clip.

✅ Pro Tips

  • Combine Split and Animated modes for maximum engagement.

  • Use 1/3 framing with bold captions for scroll-stopping Shorts.

  • For multi-brand projects, use PIP to overlay watermarks or additional content.
