Minvo provides powerful framing tools to help you adapt your videos for different platforms and storytelling styles. Whether you're creating content for social media, presentations, or multi-speaker clips, each framing mode gives you precise control over how your video is displayed.

📌 Single Frame

Single Frame keeps one consistent frame throughout the entire video.

When to Use

  • You want your subject (e.g., speaker) to stay fixed

  • Your video has no scene changes

  • You prefer a clean, minimal look

How to Use

Action:

  • Open the Framing panel

  • Select Single Frame

  • Drag and position the frame (center, left, right, etc.)

Why:
This ensures a stable and distraction-free viewing experience across the full video.

📸 Split

Split allows different framing for different segments of your video.

When to Use

  • You want to shift focus between speakers or visuals

  • Your video includes multiple scenes or angles

  • You want more dynamic storytelling

How to Use

Action:

  • Split your video into segments (e.g., 50/50 or custom cuts)

  • Select a segment

  • Apply framing individually from the Framing panel

Why:
Each segment can have its own framing, giving you full control over visual focus.

🟦 1/3 Frame (Left / Center / Right)

This mode positions your subject in one-third of the screen for a balanced, professional layout.

When to Use

  • You want space for captions, titles, or graphics

  • You’re creating content for social media

  • You prefer a cinematic composition

How to Use

Action:

  • Open the Framing panel

  • Select 1/3 Left, Center, or Right

Why:
Minvo automatically aligns your subject, making it easy to create visually balanced content.

🖼️ Picture-in-Picture (PIP)

PIP overlays a smaller video on top of your main frame.

When to Use

  • Reaction videos

  • Tutorials or walkthroughs

  • Interviews or commentary content

How to Use

Action:

  • Select PIP from the Framing panel

  • Resize and position the smaller video frame

  • Combine with B-roll or other visuals if needed

Why:
This allows you to display multiple visuals at once while keeping the main focus clear.

🎬 Animated Framing

Animated framing adds motion to your video frame, such as zooms or pans.

When to Use

  • You want to add movement to static shots

  • You want to highlight key moments

  • You want more engaging, dynamic visuals

How to Use

Action:

  • Select a segment (or the entire video)

  • Open the Framing panel

  • Choose an animation (e.g., Slow Zoom In, Pan Left, Pan Right)

Why:
This adds subtle motion that keeps viewers engaged without needing extra cuts.

💡 Pro Tips

  • Combine Split + Animated framing for dynamic storytelling

  • Use 1/3 framing with captions for high-performing short-form content

  • Use PIP for tutorials, reactions, or branded overlays

  • Finalize framing first, then layer effects for best results
