Why use Think Mode?
Using Think Mode is like observing a detective or a scientist working through a problem.
It lets you ask questions that require multiple steps and receive responses that explain the reasoning process rather than just providing a straightforward answer.

How to activate Think Mode
Click the Think button
Before you ask your question, you need to tell le Chat you want it to reason.
In a new chat, click the Think button at the bottom of the chat window.
It lights up, indicating that Think Mode is active.

By clicking the arrow next to the Think button, two options appear:
Pure Thinking(1)⚡️ 10x Speed(2).
Pure Thinking
Choose Pure Thinking if you want the AI to focus purely on reasoning, without using any tools (like web browsing or links to your documents).
Blazing fast answers
The ⚡️ 10x Speed option, also known as Flash Answers, is a Pro feature that uses a special cutting-edge architecture to speed up responses by up to 10x (you can learn more about it in this 🔎 dedicated article).
Optional settings: (1) Pure Thinking and (2) Flash Answers

To Think or not to Think
Not all questions require reasoning. If you’re looking for a quick and simple answer, you can deactivate Think Mode by clicking the Think button again.
