The web is full of information, but it takes time to find what really matters.
Le Chat’s Deep Research helps by browsing the web autonomously and creating structured, well-documented reports with citations.
🔑 Deep Research acts like a dedicated researcher: it digs into a topic and delivers in minutes what might take you hours.
How Deep Research works
Deep Research is a multi-step process that combines:
creating a search plan,
browsing the web,
and generating a report.
Enable Deep Research and ask a question
To start, enable the Research
mode in the chat interface (1), then enter your question (2).
For example, let’s ask: “What are recent user reviews of le Chat?”
Enabling Deep Research and asking a question
📌 Your question can be open-ended (for example, What are the latest trends in AI?) or specific (for example, Generate a report on the impact of AI on white-collar jobs in the US in 2024). If needed, le Chat will ask you to refine your request.
If the question is too broad, le Chat prompts you for details. Add more context and send your message.

Review the search plan
Le Chat generates a step-by-step search plan and asks you to confirm.
Click Start research
to begin, or Edit
to adjust the plan (you can add, remove, or reorder steps).
🔑 Editing the plan gives you control over how the research is conducted.
