Under the Create screen used the Blue + icon to continue.

Select a Layout:

Select the photo/videos you wish to delete under the Create Screen.

Select the Delete icon (Trash Can) to remove the photo/video. You may need to swipe left on this menu to locate the icon. Continue this step to delete multiple photos/videos from your project.
