While MixVoice uses advanced AI to determine tone, you can act as the "Director" by using specific script techniques. Use this guide to master speaking speed, fix mispronunciations, and control the rhythm of your narration.

1. Adjusting Speaking Speed

The Speed Slider is your primary tool for matching the "vibe" of your content.

  • The 0.9x Rule: Slightly slow down the speed for tutorials or serious brand announcements to improve clarity.

  • The 1.1x Rule: Increase the speed for social media hooks (TikTok/Reels) to keep high-energy viewers engaged.

2. Punctuation: The Secret to Natural Pauses

MixVoice looks at your punctuation to decide where to take a breath.

  • Commas ( , ): Use these to create short, natural breaths within a sentence.

  • Periods ( . ) and Ellipses ( ... ): Use these to create standard or dramatic stops.

  • Exclamation Points ( ! ): Use these to signal the AI to provide a slightly higher energy delivery for that sentence.

3. Fixing Mispronunciations (Phonetic Spelling)

If the AI struggles with a unique name or brand, "spell for the ear" rather than the dictionary.

  • Example: If the name "Isla" isn't sounding right, try spelling it as "Eye la" in your script.

  • Pro-Tip: If a word still sounds off, try adding hyphens (e.g., "Mix-chord") to help the AI balance the syllables.

4. Special Handling for Acronyms

By default, the AI may try to read an acronym as a single word (e.g., "NASA" as "Na-suh"). To ensure every letter is pronounced individually:

  • The Period Method: Separate each letter with a period (e.g., N.A.S.A.).
