MixPrompt offers a variety of layouts that fit your content style. Below is a quick guide to help you quickly find what you are looking for.
All layouts offer teleprompter with automatic scrolling, auto captioning and audio ducking*.
* audio ducking is not available on Portrait mode
MixPrompt offers 4 layout options:
Portrait: is a video recording option that allows you to shoot a quick video with either the front (selfie) or back camera.
Green Screen: is a video recording option that allows you to insert a photo or video in the background and recording with either the front (selfie) or back camera. You can resize the video and move it around the screen to fit the background content.
Split Screen: is a video recording option that allows you to insert a photo or video into a frame and record with either the front (selfie) or back camera in the other frame. You have the option to swap frame position and record in either the top or bottom frame. Simply press the "reposition" button (looks like 4 arrows pointing up, down left and right) located to the right of the record button. Then select the swap button on the lower left corner.
Picture In Picture: is a video recording option that allows you to insert a photo or video into the larger frame and record with either the front (selfie) or back camera in the smaller frame. You have the option to swap frames and record either in the large or small frame. Simply press the "reposition" button (looks like 4 arrows pointing up, down left and right) located to the right of the record button. Then select the swap button on the lower left corner. You can also reposition the smaller frame in this menu.
Before recording your video, be sure you've selected the correct layout as you are unable to change once a project has started. Although, switching to a new layout isn't difficult. Exit the project, select a new layout and copy the teleprompter script from the old project and load it into the new.
