MixOver offers a new way to create content that will elevate your videos, duets and remixes with no editing required!

In this blog, we will introduce a couple of creative ideas to help you get started. After you create your first MixOver video, let your imagination run wild and get creative on new video concepts.

Here are the basics. For every video, you will need to

  1. Select a vertical, horizontal or square layout

  2. Load a video or photo into a frame

  3. Record

FILMING TIP

  • Depending on your recording set up, you may want to step away from the camera to fit yourself in the screen. Play with this distance so you can properly scale to match the other video.

THE BASIC CROSS OVER VIDEO

This concept shows how you can cross over from your scene into a scene you imported. Simply start recording and slowly move your way across (or up) into the other frame.

From funny memes, instructional or dancing videos, your audience will beg you to reveal your "editing" secrets.

TELEPORT CROSSOVER

This concept shows how two people in "different places" can cross over and interact with one another. It begins by you importing the perfect scene. Two creators will position themselves in each scene acting normally (one live, one imported), then at some point both creators can engage by giving each other a high five or switching places. The concepts creates the illusion that you are teleporting from one place to another.
