Follow this workflow when you harvest plants into lots and turn them into weight-based inventory.
Harvesting Workflow
1. Create harvest batches
Use the harvest tool on the Plant Listing page to create harvest batch numbers for your plants. (Ensure your plants' growth phases have been updated to flowering). The harvest batches will be displayed on the Harvest Batch Listing page as active harvests.
2. Create lots
When you are ready to create lots from the active harvest batch, use the lot creation tool. The lots you create will become bulk product inventory items displayed on the Inventory page. If your state integrator requires lots to be tested, you can mark some lots as test packages that will be sent to a lab.
Before sampling: if your harvest will produce products in more than one subcategory with different testing requirements (for example Fresh/Frozen and Buds), split the harvest and test each subcategory separately, so that each lot is tested against its own requirements. See Pennsylvania Testing Workflow.
2a. Add test results if required
If your state integrator requires it, you can add test results to a lot that was marked as a test package when it was created.
