Due to the nature of transferring tokens via smart contracts and how Coinbase chooses to set up the transaction, some deposits via Coinbase or other Exchanges may not reflect instantly on your wallet (see below for more details).
In this instance players should contact support who will locate the transaction and manually deposit the tokens to your Moolahverse account.
For this reason we strongly recommend using a non-custodial wallet (such as Metamask or Exodus) for both deposits & withdrawals.
Why does this Occur?
The issue lies in the transfer method selected by the sender. Below are two deposits made by the same player, both transfers were sent from Coinbase to Moolahverse and occurred on the same day just a few hours apart.
The initial transaction had no issues given Coinbase processed this as a standard Ethereum transfer from a Coinbase-controlled wallet. In principle, this is the same type of transaction you’d see when an individual sends ETH from a personal wallet where they control the private key.
Deposit-1
Deposit 1 was a single transaction - wallet to wallet transfer as would be seen if a player had deposited using any non custodial wallet. This transaction was automatically picked up as a "new transaction" on-chain and reflected in the user's account within a few minutes of being sent.
Deposit 2
Unlike the first transfer, Deposit 2 was sent via a smart-contract as part of a batch transfer, meaning it was grouped with multiple other transactions that were not initiated by the user.
The difference with this method is it doesn't appear on-chain under "transactions", instead it is shown under the internal transfers tab on Etherscan and other explorers (as shown below), and while this method does see the funds appear under the address "on-chain", it doesn't filter down to the Players wallet given that the platform won't register that a a new external transaction has taken place.
Should this issue arise, Moolahverse support will arrange for the funds to be manually deposited asap and please don't worry as your funds are completely safe and will be applied, but inevitably after a brief delay.
if your deposit hasn't arrived within a few minutes of being sent, please contact support and provide the transaction ID along with the token type that was sent and we look forward to helping you if the need should arise. :)
Exchange & Coinbase users are encouraged to deposit from a non-custodial wallet to ensure deposits are instant and to avoid delays,

Moolahverse Support
