The Activity Timeline removes the guesswork by showing you how historic changes in audience, creative, and budget impact campaign trends. Activity flags overlayed on visualized performance trends make it easy to understand the impact of your decisions, facilitating quick decision-making and alignment across teams.

With greater insights and accountability, the Activity Timeline enables more effective optimizations and investment decisions, helping you maximize the value of your MNTN campaigns and advertise with confidence.

Accessing the Activity Timeline

The Activity Timeline will be overlayed on your default Campaign Report and Creative Report to provide insight into changes made throughout your campaign. Activity markers will be included on all time-based graphs, including the Total Conversions bar graph, Metrics by Day area graph, and the Top 10 Conversions by Day line graph.

To access information about each activity, follow the steps outlined below:

✅ You'll find markers along the time-based graphs indicating that a change has occurred. Hover over the white activity marker and click the blue "See Events" icon to open up your Activity Timeline Drawer.

✅ Your Activity Timeline Drawer will contain a log of all campaign-impacting changes within your selected timeframe. The drawer will open to your selected event by default, but all activities occruing within the selected timeframe can be accessed from this log by scrolling.

✅ Each activity will contain the action that occurred, the campaign it occurred on, the user that made the change, and the timestamp.

Audience expression type changed

This indicates that there was a change to the Audience type that your campaign is targeting.

This would include changes from a first-party retargeting audience to a third-party audience or vice versa.

Typically, this means that the audience no longer aligns with the campaign's marketing objective.

💡 We recommend building out a new campaign that aligns with the correct marketing objective if you want to change the audience expression type instead of overwriting your existing campaign and audience.
