You can access your MNTN tracking and conversion pixel installation options anytime by selecting Pixel from within My Account or under the Account drop-down menu at the top right of the platform.
With MNTN pixels installed, you can:

Recommended Pixel Installation Methods
Our Pixel Dashboard recommends which pixel installation method to use based on your site. See the available recommendations below:
Shopify
The MNTN app for Shopify allows Shopify merchants to automatically install MNTN's tracking and conversion pixel codes directly within their Shopify store.
The connection between your MNTN Account and a Shopify store is 1:1. You will need a unique MNTN Account and a unique Shopify account to install the pixels for tracking and conversion on each store.
If your website is hosted by Shopify, the Pixel dashboard automatically recommends the Shopify installation method. To install your pixels via Shopify:
Select the Install button next to the Shopify pixel option. This will open a new window for installing the MNTN app for Shopify. If this is not the preferred method, please select the Review All Installation Methods link to access the Shopify Install button.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a free tool that makes it easy to set up and install MNTN pixels on your website—no technical expertise is required.
To install pixels via Google Tag Manager,
Select the Install button next to the Google Tag Manager pixel option. If this is not the preferred method, please select the Review All Installation Methods link to access the Google Tag Manager Install button.
The Google Tag Manager pixel setup module will display your Advertiser ID, as well as a guide to installing pixels with GTM Community Template. You can view the community template here too.
Once the pixels have been installed, click the Submit for Verification button to begin the pixel QA process.

Manual Install
A manual pixel installation (also called site-direct installation) means adding tracking and conversion pixels directly to your website’s code without using a tag manager or third-party integration. This involves placing JavaScript pixel code snippets within the HTML of your site to track user behavior and conversions.
To install your pixels via Manual Installation:
Select the Install button next to the Manual Installation pixel option. If this is not the preferred method, please select the Review All Installation Methods link to access the Manual Installation Install button.
After clicking Install, you will be prompted to download the tracking and conversion pixels as a TXT file, copy the code, show the codes, or email your developer the codes.

Once the pixels have been installed, click the Submit for Verification button to begin the pixel QA process.

Opting out of Pixel Installation
If you’d prefer to run your campaign without installing pixels, no problem. You can Opt-out of pixel installation at any time. To do so, follow the steps in the video or the steps below:
Click the Review All Installation Methods link.
Select the Opt-out button next to I’d rather run my campaigns without performance tracking.
The Opt-out module will appear with an I still want to opt-out of placing pixels button. Please see the implications of opting out below:

Understanding Your Pixel Status
Active
Once the pixels have been verified, you will see a Your pixels have been verified message and an Active Pixel Health:
Verifying
When you’ve clicked the Submit for Verification button or completed the Shopify installation, you will see the following message and Verifying status, indicating that our Pixel Engineers are reviewing your pixel installation:
Verifying: An issue has been detected with your pixel
If we identify an issue with your pixel installation, you will be notified by an MNTN team member and see the following message and Verifying status:
How to Reset Your Pixel Installation
If you need to change your pixel installation method, resetting your pixel installation is easy.
Resetting allows you to select a different pixel installation method or opt out; however, it does not remove the tracking and conversion pixels from your site.
