Block IP Addresses

Learn how to block IP addresses within the MNTN platform.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Overview

Blocking IP addresses helps ensure your performance data isn't diluted by users whom you aren't looking to target, particularly IP addresses related to your office or business.

⚠️ Warning: Constraining audiences through blocklists limits our ability to reach users wherever they’re watching CTV, which can impact reach and performance.

We recommend reaching out to your MNTN Account team to discuss impacts to reach and performance that may come from your blocklists.

Block an Individual IP Address

  1. Click on your account in the top-right corner of the platform and select My Account.

  2. Select Exclusions.

  3. Select IP Blocklist.

  4. Enter the IP Address you wish to block.

  5. Enter a Description you want to easily identify later.

  6. Click + Add IP.

Once an IP address is added to the IP Blocklist, our platform will block any targeting or attribution immediately.

πŸ“ Note: We do not support CIDR block formatting. Please refrain from uploading IPs that contain a forward slash "/" in them. We currently only support blocking IPv4 addresses.
